Nylabone Issues Dog Chew Recall Due to Salmonella Risk

nylabone logo blogDue to potential salmonella contamination, Nylabone Products is recalling one lot of their Puppy Starter Kit dog chews. No illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall to date.

nylabone recall blogThe recall only applies to 1.69 oz. packages of Nylabone’s Puppy Starter Kits with lot number 21935 and UPC code 0-18214-81291-3. The expiration date on the affected chews is March 22, 2018. The recalled chews were distributed in the United States and in Canada.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled product should immediately discontinue use. Nylabone Products can be reached at 1-855-273-7527. Please visit the FDA’s website for more information.

    Here is what I have found and you can take it with a grain of salt (it has to do with fleas) Flea bites are unpleasant as all get out for the dog and soetmimes the owner. Dog fleas need to be eliminated as soon as possible because if they are not it will just be a matter of time before some of those little buggers attatch themselves to you. Good article by the way.
