Purina Expands Land O’Lakes Feed Recall

purinaDue to the possibility of elevated vitamin D levels, Purina has expanded their July 12, 2012 recall to include additional lot numbers of Land O’Lakes feed. The affected products were manufactured between April 2, 2012 and May 8, 2012 at Purina’s Richmond, IN facility and distributed to retailers nationwide.

Consumption of feed that contains elevated levels of vitamin D can lead to loss of appetite, weight loss, joint stiffness and even death.
