The AKC Releases List of Most Popular Dog Breeds of 2014

This year’s list revealed some big changes, including the beloved dachshund falling off the most popular list and the French Bulldog breaking into the top 10 for the first time in 100 years.

The following breeds made the AKC’s most popular list for 2014:

3. Golden Retriever
4. Bulldog
5. Beagle
6. Yorkshire Terrier
7. Poodle
8. Boxer
9. French Bulldog
10. Rottweiler
