At just seven years old, Evan Moss has accomplished something many people only dream of- he’s published his first book. But this isn’t your typical children’s book. Evan wrote and published “My Seizure Dog” in hopes of raising enough money to purchase a service dog specially trained to help him survive his epileptic seizures.
Evan has been dealing with seizures since he was an infant and they are sometimes so severe that they require emergency response. The service dog would be able to alert Evan if a seizure occurred during his sleep and would alert Evan’s parents if he needed help. Evan hopes to raise the $13,000 needed to purchase this potentially life-saving pooch.
Way to go Evan! We can’t wait to read the book!
